Get Involved

Join members of the Friends of Fort Snelling in a variety of activities that help the Fort Snelling area. Some of the activities that can use your help include cleaning up litter, removing European Buckthorn, Garlic Mustard, and other invasive plants, or collecting seeds of native wildflowers. 

By volunteering, you can enjoy being outdoors in a beautiful, natural setting, help to protect the park's natural resources, meet and work with other volunteers and park staff, and have the satisfaction you are doing a real service for the Fort Snelling area.

We also help set up luminarias for the annual Candlelight Ski event and provide cookies for the participants.
