Join us for the Annual Meeting and Dinner of the Friends of Fort Snelling.
Come for an informal dinner and program with other members and friends.
Fort Snelling State Park is located on Post Road off State Highway 5 near the International Airport in Saint Paul. A vehicle permit is required to enter the park and may be purchased at the park office.

Celebrate the foods and music Swedish immigrants brought to Minnesota.

Program

6:00 p.m.  Social Gathering
6:30 p.m.  Catered Buffet Dinner with Baked Chicken, Swedish Meatballs, and other Scandinavian items
7:30 p.m.  Annual Meeting:
  • Election of Officers
  • Treasurer's Report
  • Greetings from DNR State Parks & Minnesota Historical Society
8:00 p.m.  Move Over, Brita with music of Scandinavia by
Joe Alfano on nyckleharpa, bozouki, guitar, and saw;
Cheryl Paske on fiddle and nyckleharpa; and
Barbara Rice, vocals and accordion, flute, and whistle.
